BP Portrait Award

Louise has twice exhibited as a finalist in the BP Portrait Awards at the National Gallery.

The BP Portrait Award is an annual portraiture competition held at the National Portrait Gallery in London, England.
It is the successor to the John Player Portrait Award. It is the most important portrait prize in the world and is reputedly one of the most prestigious competitions in contemporary art.

The Daily Mail has called it "the portraiture Oscars”.

One of Louise’s paintings — The Evil, Murdering, Misguided Queen Cassandra — which featured in the BP exhibition, was recently sold to The Groucho Club, Soho, where Louise is a lifetime member. It hangs in the main dining room amongst their famed collection of contemporary art.
