Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal

On 28th January 2025, Louise's portrait of Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal was unveiled. Commissioned by the Worshipful Company of Saddlers, live sittings with HRH, took place at their Livery Hall.
An extract of former Prime Warden, Lucy Atherton's speech at the event -
‘I have to admit that Louise Pragnell was my first and my favourite contender throughout the process, so I was delighted when she was unanimously chosen by the Working Group. I had seen the group portrait of Commanding Officers that Louise had done for the Household Cavalry and was impressed by the way she captures her subjects' expression and character. Louise has been wonderful to work with on this project and I hope you all love this painting as much as I do. It will serve to recognise and record the role of our third Perpetual Royal Master for future generations. On behalf of the Company, I would like to say thank you, Your Royal Highness, for agreeing to work with us on this project. And I would like to say thank you to Louise for this wonderful painting.’
